How long will it take to receive my song?

It takes 8 business days for your song to be written, recorded, and sent to you.

What is the length and structure of your songs?

Songs are usually between 2 and 3 in total length. Songs have 2 verses and a chorus. In addition, your songwriter might choose to include a bridge as well.

Will I be able to follow along as the song I created?

Since songwriters usually write, record, and mix in different ways, it is not possible for you to see a draft before the song is completed.

Can I choose which songwriter creates my song?

At this moment we pick songwriters on your behalf, however we hope to provide this option soon!

Can I make a change to my finished song?

Most of our customers are thrilled with the songs they received, however nothing is perfect. We are happy to make changes to a song if they don’t include the details you provided at the time of purchase or relating to sound quality issues. You also must contact us within 7 days of song delivery to make changes. If you are looking to make enhancements to your songs, such as an extra verse, we can provide you with a quote.

Can I use the song commercially?

When you order a personalized song from Songathon you received a personal use license in perpetuity. This means that you can play the song on any of your personal social media channels and personal video. You cannot make money off the song with such a license. If you are interested in acquiring a commercial license, please contact us for a quote.

Can I make changes to my song after ordering?

Given the quick turnaround time, we cannot make changes after you order the song. Be sure to include all details when ordering initially.

Can I provide my own lyrics or music?

We are unable to include your lyrics or music but hope to do so in the future!
